Various "one-offs" have been designed for clients, including:
- A speaking keyboard that carries out complex computer sequences at the touch of a button, and verifies all commands with speech. For a client who wanted to operate various items of software on a DOS-based PC and could not easily navigate the front-end menu.
- A non-contact adaptor that announces the on-off status of an air-conditioner. For a vision-impaired client whose air-con used a remote control and a small red LED to announce whether it was operating or not.
- An amplifier for a cordless telephone. For a client with hearing loss and impaired mobility, who relied heavily on having a cordless phone to hand at all times.
- A chute for a standard telephone that replaces the handset properly. For a client who regularly mis-aligned the handset and left the phone "off the hook".
